Greetings!
It's been a while but things have been relatively quiet for this liaison. There has been no activity on the forum but we have as of yesterday 29 sign ups. We also had a few inquiries about jobs and people were directed to the job and volunteer listings on the Idealist.org site. A Dutch organization called Digital Pioneers invited Idealist.org to submit a proposal. They are interested in funding innovative internet initiatives, and this cycle of funding they were particularly interested in international projects, however, in order to be eligible the organization has to be incorporated in the Netherlands.
At Joanna's suggestion, I am looking to see how Idealist.org can be part of a popular Dutch social networking site called "HYVES." There is also a popular forum for Dutch expats (that's how I got involved with Idealist.org!) that we can post information on, so I plan to do that as well.
