If you’re looking for volunteers or interns to help your group with a particular project or event, your group can post the opportunity in the Volunteer or Internship databases to reach people who can work with you virtually or in person.  Click here for instructions on how to post the opportunity.

Did your group do research or develop a resource that you want to share with other groups and organizations?  You can post them in our Materials database so that other can have access to it.  Click here for instructions on how to post your materials.

Each Idealist Group page is equipped with its own online forum where group members can introduce themselves, ask and answer questions, report back on projects, or simply exchange ideas.

One great way to keep active is to regularly update your forum topics.  We suggest starting start off your Idealist Group forum with a “Welcome to the group!  Please introduce yourself” thread and perhaps moving on to a “Please share your reasons for joining this group?” or “What do you think you can contribute to the group?” thread.  The goal is to keep the topics fresh and the conversation lively so members will be encouraged to come back.  (Encourage members to post their own topics as well!)
